The book ’Saippa the Saimaa ringed seal’ is a story of the most endangered seal in the world. The book presents also the other seals nesting in Finland: the Baltic ringed seal and the grey seal.

The wonderful illustrations of the book are by the ringed seal researcher and nature photographer Juha Taskinen and the illustrator Daga Ulv . Daga is especially known for her wonderful animal paintings.
