Jyväskylä Female Choir will record Christmas carols from the Finnish Female Choir Association’s 70^th Anniversary Volume called ‘Tunnen Joulun’ (‘I feel Christmas’). The new album will be recorded in April and it will contain both old familiar Finnish Christmas carols with new arrangements as well as some completely new songs.

The recording project will be carried out with talented professionals. Our choir conductor Rita Varonen will be responsible for the artistic quality. She has acted as artistic director of the Finnish Female Choir Association, and also actively trains choir conductors all over the world. Matti Heinonen, talented audio professional from Pro Audile Ltd will be taking care of the sound recording and mastering.

The target is not only to record an album that will bring warm Christmas spirit, but to record future Christmas carol classics for the usage of other female choirs as well.
